For families abroad

You cannot be there. Someone you trust can.

    Tasks completed

Finished and closed, not started or in progress — the count only moves when the work is done.

  • Geo-tagged proof of every step

Each stage closes with a photograph, timestamped and tagged where it was taken.

  • The steps, published first

Every service lists its stages before you buy, and your order runs the stages you were shown.

  • One itemised price

What each part costs, set out before you pay — not a quote that gets revised later.

What we handle

All services

How it works

Four steps, and you can see exactly where an order is at any point in them.

  1. 1. Tell us what needs doing

Pick the service and answer a few questions about the situation. If it is tangled — several things at once, or you are not sure where to start — book a free fifteen-minute call and we will map it out with you first.

  2. 2. Meet the person who will do it

You get their name, photo, city, the languages they speak and how long they have worked with us — before they start. If they ever change mid-order, we tell you who took over and why. No silent transfers into a queue.

  3. 3. Watch it happen

Photos and videos arrive geo-tagged and timestamped, plotted on a map. For a visit, your parent confirms it themselves with a four-digit code. You see each stage complete as it completes, not in a summary afterwards.

  4. 4. Get the documents and the receipts

The finished paperwork, plus a line-by-line account of what was spent. Our fee is fixed and shown before you pay. Government fees are charged at cost with the receipt attached — including when the estimate was wrong.

Shop in India, sent on to you

Somebody buys it where it is actually sold — a market, a family shop, a chemist — checks it, photographs it, and sends it on. You see what was bought and what it cost, at cost, with the receipt.

How buying works

Name any shop — this works today

The market stall you grew up on, the chemist who knows your mother's prescription, one particular brand and no substitute. Tell us in the order and your shopper goes there. We do not need an arrangement with a shop to buy from it.

Book a shopping trip

Trusted shops — coming soon

We are checking shops across India now, so soon you can pick one here by name. Nothing to wait for — tell us your shop today and we will go there.

What families ask us for

Pick one when you book — then say exactly where, and exactly which one.

  • Groceries & fresh produce

Masalas ground to order, pickles, filter coffee, regional staples, fresh produce.

  • Medicines & pharmacy

Prescriptions filled at a named chemist, ayurvedic preparations, oils and tonics.

  • Clothing & footwear

Sarees, salwar sets, sherwanis, fabric by the metre, footwear, wedding shopping.

  • Gifts & festival shopping

Lamps, idols, silk for an occasion, sweets and festival boxes, things needed by a date.

  • Home & hardware

Brassware, terracotta, handloom, hardware, pieces from a specific town or artisan.

  • Jewellery

Gold and silver from a family jeweller, imitation sets, bangles for an occasion.

  • Sweets & snacks

Mithai from a named shop, murukku, chivda, festival boxes packed to travel.

  • Books & study material

School and competitive-exam books, regional-language titles, sheet music.

Not on this list? Ask anyway — say what you want and where it is sold, and we will tell you honestly whether we can get it.

Proof, not promises

Anyone can say they are trustworthy. These are the four things we do that you can check.

Evidence that cannot be quietly edited

Every photo, document and note is appended to a hash-chained record. Nothing is ever overwritten or deleted — a correction adds a new entry that supersedes the old one, and both stay visible. You can verify the chain yourself from the order page.

A named person, not a call centre

Identity-verified, with their tenure and completed orders on the card. You can message them. When we reassign someone, the handoff is written into your timeline with the reason, because the alternative is you noticing a stranger in the photos.

Nothing hidden in the price

Our fee is fixed and quoted before you commit. Government fees are pass-through at cost, with the receipt attached, and we publish the estimate against the actual — including the times we estimated badly.

Dates as honest ranges

We give a working-day range drawn from our own completed orders, with the share that finished inside it — not a confident single date invented to win the sale. Part of this work happens in a government office we do not control, and we say so.

In their words

Reviews from the people we did the work for

Every review here is tied to a completed order. We publish the rating, the words as they were written, the service and the city — never a name, and never a date, because a service plus a city plus a date can identify somebody in a small town. A rating of three or below opens a recovery case with an operations manager, and the review stays published either way.

No published reviews yet

This fills itself from approved reviews left on completed orders, and there are none yet — so there is nothing here. We would rather show you an empty section than testimonials we wrote ourselves, which is the same reason the figures on the homepage appear only once there is something real to count.

When the first ones arrive they will appear here as written, including the ones that go badly, with our answer underneath.

Until then, read exactly how each service works

Read exactly what happens, before you pay us anything

Every service has a public playbook: the real process, the named government office, the forms involved, an honest timeline, and the three or four things that most often go wrong. Written so you could, in principle, do it yourself — some people read it and do exactly that, and that is fine.

Illustration of the Abroad Allies phone app. Watercolour icons name the services it covers — visa assistance, package and courier, family and elder care, legal and documents, personal shipping and errands, and support you can trust — joined by a dotted flight path over a pale watercolour skyline of the Taj Mahal and India Gate. The app is shown on a phone open at its home screen, listing services and their starting prices in rupees.

Questions people ask first

What happens if the government office causes a delay?

We tell you before the date slips, not after, and the order timeline shows which stage is waiting and why. Part of this work depends on offices we do not control, which is exactly why we quote a range from our own completed orders rather than a single confident date.

Who actually visits my parents?

A named person whose identity we have verified, whose photo, city, languages and tenure you see before the visit. They are not a rotating pool. If we have to reassign someone, you are told who and why.

How do I know a photo is genuine?

Evidence is geo-tagged and timestamped at capture, then appended to a hash-chained record you can verify from the order page. Nothing is edited or deleted after the fact — a correction adds a superseding entry and both remain visible. For a visit, your parent also confirms with a four-digit code.

What if I am not satisfied?

Any rating of three stars or below automatically raises a recovery case with an ops manager and its own deadline — you do not have to chase anyone to be taken seriously. Reviews are never silently deleted; a hidden one stays visible to whoever wrote it.

Can my brother and sister see the same information?

Yes. A family circle gives siblings in different countries one shared view of upcoming visits, open orders, documents and what has been spent, so nobody is relaying updates by WhatsApp at two in the morning.

How are my parents’ documents protected?

A document cannot be opened or attached to anything until it clears the upload gate, and one that fails is quarantined. Every privileged action by staff is recorded with who did it and why. Nothing behind your login is ever given a social preview or indexed. Our security page lists every protection and marks each one as in place today or still planned — including the gaps, which we would rather you read before uploading anything.
